The strong gusty winds have died down this morning as we head out just 6 miles to The Great Basin National Park visitor centre....

The streams and creeks are running fairly fast with the snow melt...

Pretty "spring" flowers seen at one of the many viewpoints on route to the summit overlook...

We had planned the Bristlecone Grove hike but opt for the shorter trail, 3 mile round hike to Teresa Lake as both feeling the effects of the altitude... Still plenty of snow about.....

Our destination and the beautiful and peaceful Teresa Lake....

Well worth the hike....
